Premade fan terms, in plain English
- Premade vs promade
- Premade = pre-fanned, ready to apply. Promade = hand-made, higher-end. We make both.
- D count (3D–16D)
- How many lashes per fan. Higher D = denser, darker, more dramatic volume.
- Thickness (0.03–0.10)
- Diameter of each lash in mm. Thinner = lighter, more per fan; thicker = bolder.
- Curl (C / CC / D / L / M)
- Lift & curve. C is soft, D is dramatic lift, L has a flat base with a kick, M is the strongest lift.

- How fans are packed — loose for speed, tray for organisation, long-stem for placement control.
- Heat- vs glue-bonded
- How the base is set. Heat-bonded resists fallout; glue-bonded suits certain finishes.
